Main methods of surface treatment of stamping parts
The surface treatment of stamping parts is to improve product quality and give them beautiful and corrosion-resistant effects. The following are several commonly used surface treatment methods for stamping parts:
Electroplating treatment
The parts to be electroplated are immersed in an aqueous solution containing the deposited metal compound, and an electric current is passed through the plating solution to cause the electroplated metal to precipitate and deposit on the parts.
Anodic oxidation
The metal or alloy parts are used as anodes, and an oxide film is formed on their surface by electrolysis. This film improves the surface state and performance of the workpiece, such as improving corrosion resistance, insulation, wear resistance and hardness, and can better protect the metal surface.
Polishing processing
The surface of the workpiece is modified using flexible polishing tools and abrasive particles or other polishing media. It can make the surface of precision metal stamping parts smooth and flat, without burrs, and reduce the surface roughness of stamping parts.
Surface quenching
It refers to a heat treatment process that quickly heats the surface of the stamping part to the quenching temperature within a certain depth range, and then quickly cools it to achieve the purpose of quenching within a certain degree, so that the surface hardness is improved to meet the performance of wear resistance and impact resistance.
The above are the main methods of surface treatment of stamping parts. It should be noted that different treatment methods are suitable for different application scenarios and customer needs.
